Seth Thomas is well known for their "Adamantine" black mantel clocks, which started in 1882. Adamantine is a celluloid veneer that is glued to the wood case. This version is of burled wood grain finish. Each end has a lion head adornment with a great look to them. Super overall to it as you can see in the photos. No key included. Ran for about 20 minutes before stopping, chimed on the hour. This is what we experienced at the time of this listing.
