Straight from a Pennsylvania estate, this antique and handmade wall spill box in its original finish. This fine example would have been used by the fireplace to hold pieces and splints of wood for lighting a fire or tobacco. Wooden slat half-barrel construction with tin bands; bottom band is decorated as shown. Look at all of the photos to see how great this piece is. Measures 4.75 inches wide x 9 inches tall.
