Listed Artist Aaron Mountz Carved Wooden Hen, Signed

Pennsylvania listed folk artist sculptor Aaron W. Mountz (1873 - 1949) little carved chicken. Fantastic simple folk art style in this 4 inch tall carving. Original folk art carvings are not easy to come by. This one is ready to collect and enjoy the naive art form it possesses. Signed AH on the bottom of base as shown. Older white sticker with Aaron Mountz written on it. Provenance: Jim Hartline, Antique Dealer, 1971, Mt. Holly Springs, PA.
