1778 Marked Possibly East India Company Flintlock Pistol
Wonderful looking antique pistol.
Has logo artwork of a Lion holding a Crown on side plate as shown.
Unsure if early logo of East India Company or other variation.
On same lockplate behind the hammer is Arabic or Hindi writing as you can see, directly behind that is the 1778 stamping.
Do your homework on this one for sure, it looks great.
Clean frizzen, jaws, and pan as photographed.
Walnut stock with checkered grip and metal butt cap is in very good condition.
Original finish to metal in good condition considering antique age.
Includes wooden ramrod.
